Thank You Very many thanks to all who contributed to our Parish Christmas celebrations: Sacristans, Liturgical Ministers, Choirs, Altar Servers, Collectors, Counters, Ushers, Car Park Attendants, People who donated flowers, cleaned and decorated the Churches, erected Cribs and Christmas trees etc. A very special word of thanks to the people who worked so hard preparing and distributing the Parish Christmas Card. FIRST COMMUNION 2012 YOUTH MINISTRY GIFT Programmes THANK YOU CHRISTMAS COLLECTION LAY READERS & EUCHARISTIC MINISTERS - ALLEN Hell and Back: The club are seeking participants and sponsors for a winter 10k Run in Bray on January 29th. Participants will need to raise €80 in sponsorship. Further details on the club website and Facebook page. Congratulations: The club sends heartiest congratulations to senior player Conor Malone on his recent big day out in Aras an Uachtarain. Conor received a National Volunteer of the Year award for his work in the Jumping Jellybeans class for children with Special Needs. Best Wishes: Season's Greetings to all Milltown GAA club members and the local community. A special hello to all our club members who are abroad for Christmas. Maybe we will see you in Dowling Park some day soon. Christmas Party: Well done to the Underage Committee who organised a very successful and well-attended Christmas Party last Saturday 17th December. Santa made his usual guest appearance with armfuls of chocolate for all the underage players (and a few who were not so underage). Thanks also to DJ Alan Ryan and Committee members who provided refreshments. ROBERTSTOWN GFC Many thanks to everyone who helped to make 2011 such an outstanding year for the club with our adult players winning the Junior A championship and the Jack Higgins cup this year and gaining promotion to Intermediate level and to division 2 in the league. Well done to our 2nd team on reaching the semi final in their division. We would like to congratulate our younger teams on their success this year also with the under 16 team winning the Shield final and our under 13 team on winning two shield finals this year. Our heart felt thanks to our manager for this year Pat (stretch) Windors Jnr on making this year the success it was and would like to wish him luck on his travels and also to Pat Winders Snr for being such an influential part of the team. To our Mentors and selectors in all levels, to all who helped with the development of our club rooms, car park, pitch and new training pitch, the Robertstown GFC continued ... people who helped out with our first Cúl Camps, our GAA and Parish lotto supporters, our sponsors, our committees and to our loyal supporters may we wish you and yours a very Merry Christmas and a prosperous New year. Celebratory dinner dance on Thurs 29th December in the Westgrove Hotel, Clane. Thank you to all who support our Charity Challenge match and sponsored swim on St Stephen's day.
